Using QLab in environments with restrictive IT or purchasing policies

Some facilities may block the purchase of Mac computers, or restrict their use according to IT policy. The antivirus software or remote management tools your IT department forces you to use might be slowing down your show.

ShowCase is your solution.

The Stage Blocks ShowCase equips a standard M4 Mac mini with video or lighting superpowers. By securely locking the Mac inside a powder-coated aluminum case, it transforms from a recognizable desktop computer into a proper production console. Your IT department won’t even recognize it.

To further increase security, the ShowCase MLX model features an internal USB port to keep software dongles safe in shared environments.

Power is provided by a standard Neutrik powerCON cable. The Ethernet connection is a Neutrik etherCON connector (2.5G on MLX model.)

ShowCase is available in two models:

ShowCase MBM with three 1080p SDI+HDMI DeckLink outputs and one operator HDMI output.
ShowCase MLX with two 5-pin DMX outputs, two HDMI outputs, and internal USB for software dongles.
